One of us ordered the gumbo and the other the bouillabaise. Ended up waiting over an hour, and they literally let half the seats empty before someone started busing the area.īut most importantly, the food! Wife didnt want oysters so I didnt indulge. Interesting conversation at first but then quickly devolved to drunk talk which made the wait longer. Walked towards the back to find a line of about 15 people, and the ones toward the back of the line were pretty trashed. Perhaps spoiled by our hotel/casino, but the walk through the Palace Station Casino was sad and depressing, like bad AC casino sad. Short cab ride from our hotel to Palace Station. Probably arrived somewhere between 1030 and 11pm. Was warned by our hotel staff to wait if the wait was an hour or less, but try some other time if. Read about this place here on TA and seemed like a good late night option. I loved it and can’t wait to go here again! More I was watching! So crazy! So good! Genius! He just knows what spice is what from 0 to 10 without even measuring. Roberto the chef/ cook who’s been here for 9 years is awesome! He is like my grandma. It was so much food I had to take some home as leftovers. The crab and lobster pan roast was really delicious. But it’s cool!! The oyster shooters are a must! Omg! They are so amazing! The ambiance is non applicable because you are basically just at a bar. So don’t do what I did, just skip the Caesar salad. So for a seafood oyster bar I was expecting Anchovies in the salad, but alas, there are none:(. I ordered the Caesar salad and the crab and lobster pan roast. Usually they’re too salty or taste too much like the sea for me. Best oyster I’ve ever had like that before.

Tried one oyster from a friendly guest next to me and it was so good when you added lemon and salt to it. You will wait in line for a while but it’s totally worth it. This place is a must if you are an oyster lover! Steve and Roberto and the rest of the staff were so friendly and awesome.
